Ana Vrzic | Physiotherapy Resident
Ana Vrzic is a registered physiotherapist at Motion Works Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre, with a passion for evidence-based care and a holistic approach, to help ensure client goals are met.
Ana Vrzic is a registered physiotherapy resident with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). She graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University, following completion of an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Ottawa. Ana has always been interested in ways that individuals can improve their wellbeing and promote longevity through stress reduction and an active lifestyle.
During her studies at Queen’s University, Ana helped with the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, developing her interest in Women’s Health. She plans to pursue further education within this field, and provide care related to Women’s Health, through all ages. While studying, Ana also participated in an international placement in Brisbane, Australia and is integrating lessons she has learned from her time abroad within her own practice.
Ana’s background in science ensures that her approach to treatment is evidence based, combining education, manual techniques, and exercise prescription. Ana is very passionate about a holistic approach to recovery, ensuring clients’ goals are met by taking into account all aspects of health. Her own health interests include aerial arts, meditation, yoga, gymnastics, and jump rope.
